On February 12, 2015 the United States Postal Service issued a limited edition Forever Stamp of Robert Robinson Taylor. The stamp is the 38th addition to the service’s Black Heritage series. The stamp was officially introduced during a ceremony in the atrium of the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C.
The NBA's Orlando Magic features our Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction alumnus Andrew Powell in news article. Powell is owner and president of The APOS Group, a construction company, based in Orlando. He is also the Executive Director of the Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida.

On April 9, 2011 Tuskegee University officially dedicated the Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science with a black-tie banquet in Tuskegee's Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center ballroom, featuring Valerie B. Jarrett, senior adviser to President Barack Obama. Jarrett is the great-granddaughter of Taylor. Over 70 descendants of Robert Taylor were present and presented the university with a $50,000 gift.

What's going on in SKEGEE World
AIAS Tuskegee Chapter along with Auburn University AIAS Chapter hosted hundreds of architecture students from across the South at the 2013 AIAS Fall South Quad Conference October 17th-20th.
Tuskegee became the first HBCU AIAS Chapter to host this event. The Tuskegee University chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students, hosted a keynote presentation at the University Chapel as part of their semi-annual regional conference.
